Girlguiding at Christ Church. This was first established over 50 years ago and is thriving! A group of Rainbows, Brownies, and Guides use the Church premises and gardens for their weekly meetings. Each unit is run by qualified leaders and the programme offered to the girls adheres to the policies of the Girlguiding Movement with the Promise Law at its centre. 86th Leicester Rainbows. If your daughter enjoys time out of doors, crafts, messy play, challenges, games, singing, laughter and having fun then Rainbows is where she will find it. Elizabeth Bennett, Rainbow Leader.

Our group of girls aged 10-14 years enjoy a
varied programme of challenges, service projects and adventurous activities
with opportunities to go on trips and visits, sleepovers and camps. Weekly
meetings are on Tuesdays from 6.30pm – 8.30pm. Guides enjoy working in
friendship groups with their peers and have fun whilst learning leadership
skills and experiencing being part of a team. Recent activities have included service projects on our local allotments, helping at Christ Church's Christmas Fayre, a Glamorama Sleepover and collecting things for shoeboxes to send to British Army medics in Sierra Leone. Interested in joining us?
